Australian Solar Installations is a family-owned solar company based on the Gold Coast. We started in 2009 with a simple idea: give everyday Australians honest advice, quality products, and service worth talking about. No pushy sales, no cheapest-panel-on-the-truck shortcuts, just systems that are sized right and built to last.
Today we are one of South East Queensland's most trusted local installers, and we still handle every job with our own in-house team. As power prices keep climbing, our purpose is the same as it was on day one: help you take control of your bills with a solar system that is sized right, installed properly, and backed for the long run.
The family behind it
A husband-and-wife team and a local crew who do the work themselves.
A licensed master electrician, Mick founded Australian Solar Installations in 2009 and still leads every install. He set the standard the whole team works to: size it right, install it properly, back it for the long run.
Co-founded the business alongside Mick and looks after the customer side, from your first phone call to long after your system is on the roof. Most of her day is spent making sure people are genuinely looked after.
Our own crew of installers and electricians, not subcontractors flown in for the day. The same local team designs, installs and services your system, and you can still call them years later.

17 Years of Expertise
Mick has been hands-on in the trade for far longer than the company has existed. Australian Solar Installations grew out of that experience in 2009, and in the years since we have designed and installed more than 2,000 systems across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
That experience is the difference between a system that looks fine on paper and one that quietly performs for 25 years. We know what lasts in the Queensland sun and salt air, what fails early, and how to size a system so it actually pays for itself. Every quote we give is shaped by it.
A Local Solar Company
We are not a national call centre with a local-sounding name. Australian Solar Installations is based in Upper Coomera on the northern Gold Coast, and our own team covers the region from here.
Being local matters more than people realise. We know the network rules and the rebates, we know the rooflines from the canals of Hope Island to the new estates of Pimpama, and if something ever needs attention we are a short drive away, not a phone queue.
